Kidney March, the 100-kilometer walk in support of kidney health and organ donation, will be passing through the community of Bragg Creek on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

This unique event involves participants walking along roadways and pathways from Kananaskis to Calgary and area to raise awareness and vital funds for life-saving research, kidney disease prevention, patient programs, and organ donation initiatives. Kidney disease takes thousands of Canadian lives each year and there is no cure. 1 in 10 Canadians have kidney disease. Most don’t even know until it’s too late. It’s called the silent killer. But they’re marching, so it will be silent no more.

Kidney March is a true testament to the indomitable human spirit and the power of collective action. By dedicating three days of their lives to walking an average of 33 kilometres per day, participants aim to symbolize the difficult and often strenuous journey faced by those living with kidney disease.
